Video Node™

The Video Node™ is a digital media player used in conjunction with an iDyl™ Media Server.  Accessing the digital content stored on the iDyl or NAS devices, the Video Node offers 5.1 channel DTS and fullscreen DVD playback, together with  instant access to your entire CD collection, all from an incredibly easy to use interface.

With multiple Video Nodes all communicating with an iDyl™, you can have your very own DVD jukebox in every room of the house.  You'll never have to worry about scratched or missing disks again.

The Video Node™ is the last word in 'easy to use'.  Whenever you add music or video to the iDyl, the iDyl will immediately communicate these changes to any connected Video Nodes, so that new content is available instantly around the house.  No manual updates or refreshes are required.

Available with up to a 1.5TB HDD, the Video Node™ can act as a synchronous back-up of the iDyl.  Easily configured to archive media located on the iDyl™ Media Server on a nightly, weekly or manual basis, you have peace of mind in the event that you accidently delete content at a later stage.  In such an event, a simple one-step operation will restore all your deleted content.

Video Nodes will be installed in your A/V equipment rack alongside the iDyl™.  Receiving IR and control commands from the iDyl™, the Video Node is a truly scalable multiroom digital video solution.  Whether you have a 2 or 200 zone installation, the iDyl™ and Video Nodes can be user-configured to meet your requirements simply and without fuss.

Control Options

The Video Node™ is designed for seamless control from any of the control methods available to the iDyl™. These include:

Crestron - Connected via LAN to a compatible control processor, you can customise and control multiple Vide Nodes™ from the same modules used to control the iDyl™ Media Server.

Wi-Fi - Wireless control is the ultimate in freedom and convenience.  Using our Wi-Fi enabled Room Commander software, the true potential of your  iDyl™ and Video Nodes™ are finally realised.  You can have as many or as few remotes as your budget depicts, and each remote can control all rooms.  As you move around your home, you simply tell the remote which room you are now in, and it intelligently switches it's display accordingly.

I.R. - Full control of your Video Node™ is possible via IR.  With an incredibly easy to use interface, and compatibility with learning remotes, you can integrate the Video Node™ into your existing A/V setup.

Living Control - Compatibility with the MRS/EVENT processors via RS-232.

PC - You can also control the Video Node™ via any PC running Windows 2000 or Windows XP™.
